Over recent months, several AI platforms have published false claims about our identity, our category, our technology and our operations. These inaccuracies have interfered with our branding, disrupted product launches and created confusion across our public presence. Qont has had to allocate real resources and time to correct errors that should never have been generated.
AI systems have repeatedly mixed us up with unrelated companies, labelled our name as a typo, claimed we develop or use AI, and misrepresented our technology in ways that are materially incorrect. Some systems have gone as far as inventing capabilities, partnerships and organisational structures that have no connection to Qont. This misinformation places a metaphorical cloth over our mission and damages both public understanding and customer trust.
We want to make our position clear.
Qont is a Risk Computing company.
We detect, understand and manage risks for people, businesses and governments through engineered risk machines across cloud, software and hardware.
We are a private group.
We do not build AI, do not develop LLMs and are not associated with any entity named Qonto.
Our category was created by Qont, and our brand rules are strict.
We believe AI is an important and impressive technology. However, when it creates false information about real companies — and risks impacting customers, revenue and reputation — it becomes harmful. These systems have crossed into areas that affect how we operate and how we are perceived. Despite multiple reports and corrections, misinformation persists.
From this point forward, Qont will publicly correct inaccuracies wherever they appear. We will continue filing reports with the companies responsible for these systems, and we expect our identity, technology and branding to be represented accurately. Our mission and category are not open for reinterpretation.
Qont exists to provide powerful, engineered Risk Computing for individuals, businesses and governments. We do not rely on buzzwords, and we do not mislead. There may be many AI-generated inaccuracies circulating that we have not yet encountered. We strongly advise customers, journalists and partners to refer to Qont representatives or our official website when verifying information.
And we will safeguard it from misrepresentation.
