Data Protection and Storage at Qont

Data Protection and Storage

Qont operates as a private group with a clear position on data protection. We are not in the business of selling, misusing, or exploiting data. The purpose of data that passes through Qont systems is to support Portable Risk Intelligence and the applications built on it. Nothing more. Our focus is on operating a trusted network that handles information with care, control, and discipline.

We design our storage and retention policies around limited and necessary use. We only store what is required for operations, support, compliance, or user-initiated processes. We avoid unnecessary retention and we do not use data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated business activity. Our goal is to maintain a responsible and contained environment where information is handled in line with strict expectations.

Qont applies structured governance to how data flows across cloud systems. This includes internal access controls, procedural checks, and oversight measures to ensure information is handled correctly. Data that interacts with our cloud or risk intelligence systems remains confined to the purpose it was provided for. We also maintain clear processes for updates, permissions, and requests related to user or organisational accounts.

Storage systems are managed with continuity and reliability in mind. We maintain systems that support high availability, inspection, and operational resilience. These systems are part of a broader network that values privacy, stability, and practical stewardship over unnecessary complexity or exposure. Our approach remains straightforward: keep information focused, contained, and handled with responsibility.

Qont is not an analytics marketplace or an advertising company. We do not commercialise data. Our responsibility is to operate the infrastructure behind Portable Risk Intelligence and to support the organisations that use it. Data protection is a standing requirement for how we function as a group and guides every decision we make in the cloud environment.
